Create mailings faster, more efficiently and with greater flexibility – that was the task of our long-standing customer Verlag Heinz Heise, which offers regional and local marketing for small and medium-sized companies under the umbrella brand Heise RegioConcept together with other publishers and agencies of the Heise Group. The Inxmail email marketing platform was able to meet these requirements. It quickly became clear how innovative functions could be used to optimize workflows while simultaneously enriching the editorial process with the joy of use.
Heise had been using the Inxmail Professional tool for almost ten years. In order to further simplify processes, Heise RegioConcept wanted to be able to create mailings faster and more efficiently in the future. This includes optimizations in the mailing editor as well as in the technical requirements (e.g. image management). In addition, the editors need more flexibility in designing their mailings, without having to make extensive adjustments depending on the target group or content. It should be ensured that the editors can work independently and in line with the CD in the layout. This in turn makes it possible to create perfect mailings within a team without extensive training or instruction.
During the consultation, it quickly became clear that Inxmail New Xperience meets all these requirements and creates the necessary technical conditions. As a provider of regional and local marketing, Heise is always interested in using new technologies, including in its own email marketing. In combination with proven content and functions, Heise was immediately impressed by Inxmail New Xperience and ready to switch email marketing platforms.
To ensure a smooth transition to the Inxmail New Xperience mailing editor, it was particularly important to adapt the mailing template and provide a brief introduction to the tool and its functions. In the first step, the design template was revised and technically adapted to the new mailing editor. However, it was much more important to check the existing template for customer requirements and, above all, to bring it up to date technologically so that the mailings would perform well in the future. Therefore, the design template was redeveloped conceptually together. The result is an appealing and tidy design that is easy for the reader to read and click on and offers potential for more interaction.
As soon as the complete technical infrastructure was set up, an almost hour-long online introduction took place. Since Heise RegioConcept already has extensive user knowledge, the focus was on more advanced topics, such as creating individual stylesets and containers, and how to quickly create design-compliant mailings.
After a comprehensive induction, the Heise RegioConcept editors were able to get started straight away and create their mailings and new article templates with Inxmail New Xperience. Optimizing the technical infrastructure also contributes to a flawless process for creating and sending mailings.
